A common "cause of death" for the W123 diesels is failure of these oil cooler lines and the resulting complete loss of oil pressure and consequent engine damage.  The original lines have lasted 30-40 years and rarely fail by any normal wear and tear, save for the less-than-eternal lifespan of rubber hose.  We've been refurbishing lines for our own cars and ones that come through the shop for 5+ years and have only perfect performance from them so far.

At this time, it is a mail-in labor service only.  We are working on collecting core lines so core exchanges are possible.  You ship us your oil cooler lines, we refurbish and ship back.  Turnaround time is 1 week or less.
This service includes cleaning + new rubber sections and crimps, not renewal of the yellow plating on the lines.  If your line(s) are damaged and not usable for refurb you will be notified, and if possible we will source the piece(s) necessary to make your set whole for an additional $40 per side.

We will NOT rebuild aftermarket lines.  The ends are made differently and are part of the reason they have a reputation for blowing apart.

DISCLAIMER:
There is no warrantee on this product.  We know our process and materials are proven but since other factors present on the car can jeopardize the cooler lines (bad motor mounts, for example) and we are not installing the parts, combined with the high risk of catastrophic engine damage if there is a leak, we cannot bear any of that liability.  It is your responsibility to check for leaks thoroughly after installation, and periodically at any point afterward.  The quality of our work is our greatest focus so if there is an issue please contact us and we will certainly make right on whatever we can, but it is not guaranteed like our other products.

Excellent product and support

Excellent to work with and offered quick responses to any questions during removal and installation. Would not hesitate to buy another set of oil cooler lines for my W123.

Quality parts and excellent customer service

This is the best option out there for this repair. My lower line on my 83 300D has been leaking for who knows how long, and I know a leaking oil cooler line is an omen for impending catastrophic failure. New OEM lines are no longer available, and I wouldn't trust the cheap aftermarket ones to hold up long term to the 100+ psi and 220°F+ operating conditions that these lines are subjected to in normal use. These are rebuilt from OEM line sets and very high quality. Definitely a nuisance to get in and out of the car, but keeping the old ones intact is critical since this rebuilding service is crucial to keeping these cars on the road.
